Writers’ Community of Simcoe County Luncheon

The Writers’ Community of Simcoe County’s first luncheon is planned for Sunday, September 25th from 1-4 pm at the Lions Gate Banquet Hall, 386 Blake St., Barrie. We have an exciting welcome and an amazing speaker lined up to motivate, inspire and enlighten writers in our community.

Writers’ club hosts international author

Don’t miss award-winning, internationally published author Ruth E. Walker, who will speak on September 25 at 1 p.m. at Lion’s Gate Conference Hall, 386 Blake St., Barrie.

Her talk is entitled “Luck, Stupidity, and the Bliss of Ignorance: The Wins and Losses of a Reluctant Writer.”

Tickets are $20 for Writers’ Community of Simcoe County members ($16 for student and senior members) and $25 for non-members.

Tickets are available at the door or at www.simcoewriters.ca.

Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month. WCSC membership is $50 annually ($25 for students and seniors).
