WCSC Luncheon Oct. 16, 2011

According to their website, the Writers’ Community of Simcoe County is holding another lunch event this Sunday October 16, 2011:

Canada Reads winner Terry Fallis will be guest speaker at the October meeting of the Writers’ Community of Simcoe County.  Fallis won the CBC’s Canada Reads 2011 competition for his book The Best Laid Plans. The book was named one of the Top 5 Essential Canadian Novels of the Decade. Fallis won the 2008 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour for his debut novel The Best Laid Plans and his most recent work, The High Road, was one of five finalists for the Leacock Medal 2011.
