Meeting Schedule

Dear BWC,

Here is a schedule of our planned meetings at Grace United Church on Monday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

We meet every Monday except for Holidays. This year we plan a Christmas party for Monday, December 17, (probably at my house).

This coming year we plan to meet during March break but not Easter Monday, April 22.

Please keep in mind that if the weather conditions are difficult for driving we will cancel. We generally make a decision as late as 4:00 or 5:00 pm of that day, often following the lead of Georgian College. Please check your email or social media for updates on cancellations for a given day.

We’re Back!

Dear Barrie Writers’ Club Members:

Yes, we are starting up again tomorrow  – Sept 10th 2018 – at 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Grace United Church at 350 Grove Street East.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone after the summer off and hearing your stories and poems.

Will give you an update on the Anthology and plans for the coming year.

Summer break – See you in September!

Just a reminder that we will not be meeting over the summer months, including today.
Our first meeting of the fall session will be Monday, September 10, 2018 at 6:30 pm at Grace United Church.

No meeting on Monday May 21, 2018

Just a reminder that we will not be meeting on the May Long Weekend.
Enjoy your time off but keep writing.
You may bring submissions for the anthology to be critiqued on Monday May 28th even though the deadline for submissions is that day. Please send your submissions by email rather than paper copy to barriewriters@gmail.com
I will be on holiday in Israel for two Mondays, from Sat May 25 to Tues June 5, but Rose-Ann will be available.
I look forward to reading your submissions.
